Being Ghosted Is Normal

Being ghosted by potential employers seems to be a trend.

In voiceover that’s not a new phenomenon, it’s just normal.

It’s understood that you won’t be contacted once you’ve submitted an audition unless it’s to record the project.

The client owes you nothing after you submit. And, no, the client will not give you feedback on your audition. Your feedback is that you didn’t book it.

That’s not to excuse, condone or support any potential employer that does not follow-up with job candidates after an interview, or several rounds of interviews. That’s just rude.
